Do nothing! It is the new and healthy way of detox kind a life.
Yes, actually it is a kind of Detox. Mental break is something that we call Detox, however let me tell you what is not detox.
There are plenty of debates about Detoxification if it is scientifically correct and right or it is again a popular health thing. We could say until some science speak different that there is any to the point research or literature claims about detoxification is healthier than any natural options. I would like to say we are not talking about detoxing alcoholic drinks, cigars and or the kind of addicted materials from our body.
You pay money to the products related to Detox or you go to special places to have something medical into your body, but you never do the basics. You are looking for the right pill, although science prove that there is no magic one, but still. Why we are such unthoughtful creatures, why someone said us there is a miracle, why nobody thought us the importance of doing the right things, why there is no shortcut?
Why is not the right question in here. Let me change it to ‘How?’
You can please and enhance your body’s natural detoxification system by
- Limit alcohol
- Focus on sleep
- Drink water
- Reduce your intake of sugar (Just limit, there is no need to cut off, sugar is not the enemy, too much sugar is the enemy)
- Eat antioxidant rich food (berries, fruits, nuts, cocoa, vegetables, spices, beverages, green tea, …)
- Eat foods high in prebiotics (onion, soy bean, asparagus, bananas, bread, garlic, …)
- Decrease your salt intake (Just take the daily necessary dose, iodine is basic for the body and against to aging)
- And do exercise.
The main purpose of detoxification is to improve your health and it is a kind of preventive medicine, and the basics always work. There is no magic bullet, food, therapy, or something else that you call miracle.
Thank you
Deniz
